Introduction to Successful Learning for an Exceptional Life (ISLFEL) for Secondary School Students

ISLFEL will be conducted in secondary schools in the target provinces. Aside from informing the students about study options and career success, it will provide an opportunity to introduce Plus Education website and its free downloadable online materials. The topics include how to be successful in study, how to become an A-grade student, how to get scholarship, shared by former outstanding students. The topics further discuss on vocational skills, the trend of the world workforce, and orientation to the academic programs of the university (what university’s program looks like). This program is unique of its kinds because to date own promotion-based events/sessions have been conducted by only universities to promote their programs. Secondary school students are rarely oriented to study choices and career paths. This orientation will serve as a link between secondary schools and universities.

Organizers have youth-related experience networking with secondary schools and universities and have experience conducting similar events. Guest Speakers may include former or current outstanding students who are currently studying or holding important position in the government, private sectors and NGOs. Students from grade ten to twelve will be the main target group. However, dropouts in the community will be invited to participate.
